Policies and Procedures
- We accept Visa, MasterCard, and AMEX payments by phone: (877) 260-MOTO (6686).
- Reserving a date: Contact us by phone or email and confirm the availability of the date(s) you want. Reserve those date(s) with a credit card. $500 deposit is required to reserve a tour, 50% deposit is required to reserve training, balances are due 30 days prior to any event.
- Rider Training Center Hours of Operation:
8:30am to 3pm (Oct – May), Summer time hours: 7:30am to 2pm (June – Sept).
- All participants must complete and submit a Rider Profile and Registration Form and must sign our Waiver Forms prior to any event.
- All MotoVentures events will take place, Rain or Shine, unless otherwise notified.
- Group and Family discounts are available. Contact us and let us quote an event customized specifically for your unique group.
- Dual Sport Tours require a minimum of five people and all participants are responsible for carrying their own drivers/riders license and travel documents.
- Please correctly state your skill level and physical condition for any MotoVentures ride:
Select the right adventure for you. MotoVentures customers are often grouped together by the following skill levels: Level 1 (Beginners), Level 2, or Level 3 (Advanced). Our unique rides and routes are carefully selected to match each group's riding ability for the best possible experience for everyone on the ride. So please choose carefully, the difference in difficulty for these groups is significant.
Level 1 is for beginners with absolutely no experience riding a motorcycle of any kind.
Level 2 is for street riders or people who can ride, but have limited dirt experience and skills.
Level 3 is for experienced, advanced or above skill level riders who are still learning, honing their skills, or just looking for a new challenge or adventure.
- What's the Minimum Age for Training?
We require that our youngest students be able to ride a bicycle without training wheels before trying a motor-cycle. We have Yamaha's PW50 and TTR50 for these folks.
- Crash Damage Repair Policy:
When using one of our motorcycles, you are responsible for any damage you incur. For any parts you damage that require replacing we will charge you dealer cost for the parts, plus 10%. Normal wear will not be charged to the customer.
- Late Arrivals for Training or Trials: (Please don't be late)
If you arrive approx one hour late you must wait until our first break of the day.
If you arrive more than one hour late you will miss important basics and we may not be able to accommodate you that day due to the disruption it causes others who showed up on time.
- Minimum Number of Riders Required:
Five riders minimum are required per day of training. If five riders are not registered seven days prior to the day you want, we may phone and offer you the following choices:
A) If you can, we allow 24 hours to recruit enough people and keep the date.
B) Reschedule for another date.
C) Pay additional fees for an exclusive to guarantee that date.
D) Cancel and receive a full refund.
- Cancellations, Refunds, and Rescheduling: (Notice by phone is required)
For Training & Trials Events: 72 hours or more notice prior is needed to get a full refund. If we receive notice 24 to 48 hours prior to the event, a $25 processing fee will be charged and the balance refunded. If we receive more than 48 hours notice you can get a full refund.
For Tours: due to the lead times required for travel, manpower, equipment preparation, reservations, etc., we will need at least 30-days notice for a full refund, less than that and we must charge you the full deposit amount of $500.
- No refunds will be given for the termination of a participant for unsafe or inappropriate conduct. MotoVentures reserves the right to terminate the participation of a rider for unsafe or inappropriate conduct at any time and for any reason.
