MotoVentures Training Curriculum:

MV currently offers seven different training options: Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Private Coaching, 2-Day Training, Training Tours, and Trials. Our unique approach to motorcycle rider training begins with using the best curriculums we know of: our own. We have our own Practice Guide. Our unique training curriculums feature step-by-step instructions, demonstrations, and riding exercises designed to develop sound fundamentals. We build on existing skills and increase overall control and confidence. Our exercises were developed from years of racing, testing for factories and magazines, riding dirt, street, and dual sport bikes. We teach valuable and practical skills for conquering any terrain obstacle you may encounter; dirt, mud, sand, rocks, hills, logs, ruts, etc. We believe in custom tailoring our curriculum as much as possible to each person and group – not a take it or leave it, cookie cutter course. We also believe in providing practical lessons that represent and prepare you for the real world. We encourage practicing, and additional training is always available so you can take your riding to the next level.

MotoVentures Rider Training Centers:

MotoVentures Rider Training Centers are conveniently located in Southern California where we offer training almost every week. At our Rider Training Centers we have a wide variety of challenging terrain to improve our skills on including several large unobstructed training ranges for Levels 1 riders to safely get started on and for Level 2 riders to take their riding to the next level. These large areas are excellent for exercises that include turning and braking, and for advanced exercises like wheelies, jumping, and sliding. Our training ranges include various hills, natural-terrain sand wash, and plenty of rocky/rough terrain areas too. Level 3 riders and trials riders can take on the more challenging terrain at our Rider Training Center, where we utilize various rugged single track trails to teach advanced rider skills. Our trials training areas feature plenty of perfect obstacles for teaching new trials riders, and enough challenging obstacles to satisfy even the most demanding trials riders.

MotoVentures Yamaha Training Motorcycles:

We use the best motorcycles in the world: Yamahas, with an impressive product line which includes a full range of appropriately sized, friendly, electric start, four stroke, state-of-the-art recreational dirt bikes to choose from, ten models total!: PW50, TTR50E, TTR90E, TTR125E, TTR125LE, TW200, XT225, TTR230, WR250, and WR450. All our Yamaha's are late-models, set up properly, and very well maintained. They are tuned up with the correct carburetor jetting, suspension settings, and appropriate guards installed. Students can bring their own motorcycle or reserve one of our Yamahas to ride for the day.

MotoVentures Riding Gear:

Our customers are welcome to bring their own gear, but for those without gear, we proudly offer a wide selection of high-quality, high-tech riding gear to fit everyone, kids included, from head to toe in groups of up to 25 people… and that's a lot of riding gear! This is possible because of the generosity of many great sponsors that we have including Yamaha Genuine Accessories, Thor Racing, HJC Helmets, Smith Goggles, TCX Boots, and EVS Pads. A full set (required) of riding gear consists of: a full coverage helmet, goggles, gloves, long-sleeve jersey, elbow pads, shoulder pads, padded pants, knee pads, socks, and boots.
