Our Trials Bikes: We currently have a small fleet of late-model Gas Gas 2-stroke trials bikes and Scorpa 4-stroke trials bikes for you to use when riding with us. You may have heard of the Spanish-built Gas Gas's, but Scorpa's are from France and one of only five major trials manufacturers in the world. Scorpa wisely uses tried and true Yamaha engines to power their trials bikes, including the popular YZ250F 4-stroke engine, highly modified of course. So when you ride trials with MotoVentures you get a chance to ride a variety of well-prepared, state-of-the-art trials bikes. MotoVentures is an authorized Gas Gas and Scorpa trials bike dealer so you can purchase the used bike we provide for you to ride, or you can purchase a new one, and ride it for the first time with us.
Our Trials Riding Gear: Our trials riding gear consists of specialized trials boots and helmets. We use TCX trials boots which are light, flexible and designed for walking and riding, and we use NZI trials helmets which are light, vented, and have an open face. Both reflect the relatively low speed requirements of this specialized sport. The remaining gear can be your own dirt bike riding gear or supplied by us. Our Trials Training Qualifications: When you ride trials with MotoVentures, you'll get the patient and friendly one-on-one attention you'll need, and it will come from a well-qualified trials competitor like Gary LaPlante who has more than 30 years of trials competition experience that includes six Arizona State Trials Championships and 12th place ranking in the 1976 AMA National Trials Championship. In 2003 and 2004 LaPlante won the Master's-class championship in the ultra-competitive SoCal ATA trials series and remains today one of the top local trials experts, and top national vet-experts.
